I often sit at the piano and lose track of time, but this January, the passage of time feels especially close. It marks ten years since David passed, his birthday, and, somehow, my own step into my 80th year on this beautiful, chaotic planet.
As those moments converge, that mix of memory, celebration, and reflection led me to plan something special. Bowie’s Piano Man: A Decade in the Stars comes to The Sun Rose for three intimate nights only, January 8,9, and 10, 2026.
These won’t be ordinary concerts. They’re gatherings of spirit, memory, and music, shaped differently each night in a room built for connection and storytelling. If you’ve experienced our residency before, you know how often surprises find their way to the piano, and how those unexpected moments become part of the soul of these evenings.
